Hupa Hua Whenua & Takakau
On Tuesday we had our first lesson as the Kaahui Kaitunu. We had heaps of fun making hupa hua whenua and takakau. We were lucky enough to try our takakau before we left for home. It was piping hot and the melted butter with jam made it taste so delicious! Our hupa wasn't ready before we left for home so Whaea Lenore left it to simmer overnight!
